History
Williamson Nursery was founded in 1999 by David and Brenda Williamson, who began by propagating azaleas from cuttings taken from their own garden. Before long, they expanded into hybridizing and growing a variety of daylilies—many of which remain customer favorites today. Decades later, the Williamson’s faithful legacy lives on, and reminders of the nursery’s humble beginnings can still be felt throughout our garden paths—just look for our furry friend, DayLILY, and the bright yellow logo that passersby have come to recognize. The nursery remains locally owned and family-operated, and we proudly keep the Williamson name as a tribute to the couple who built this business out of a genuine love for growing and sharing plants, serving their community, and thanking God for it all.
Over the years, the nursery has expanded to now operate on over 11 acres including greenhouses, a full supply gardening shop, stone-yard, and more. You’ll find a wide selection of plants, trees, mulch, straw, stone, and our signature completely organic “Super Soil.”
Our family invites you to come stroll through our park-like grounds and discover inspiration in our display gardens, water features, pathways, and plant arrangements. Whether you’re refreshing a garden bed or transforming your entire outdoor space into something beautiful, we’re here to help you get digging! See you at Williamson’s!
